3. The organizers of the contest will select the groups who will take part in the contest with regard to the CV and the material presented ( in video, dvd or cd ) Both the CV and the materials can be sent to the adress in point number 2.

4. The list of groups chosen to take part in the contest will be made public on April 12, 2008.
All applicants will be notified.

5. The groups chosen will make at least 3 performances, one a day, on June 20, 21 and 22, 2008. Places and schedules to be determined by the organization.
The Friday performances will start at 19:00.
The awards will be presented on Sunday the 22th June at 13:30. All groups taking part must be present at the awards ceremony.

6. The material necessary for the development of the performances will be the responsibility of the groups taking part.

7. The organization will provide accommodation and meals for the groups taking part, with the exception of the Basque groups who will be provided with meals only. For every group of 9 musicians, the expenses will cover one accompanyist (including chauffeur) and for groups of 9 or more musicians, the expenses of 2 accompanyists (including chauffeur).

8. The groups taking part in the contest with less than 9 musicians will receive a fixed fee of 1.500 as well as an amount of 300€ by way of travel support for groups coming from locations more than 300 Km from Amorebieta.

For groups of 9 or more musicians the fixed fee received will be 2.000 € and 500€ by way of travel support.
Any exceptions for special cases can be determined by the organisation.

9. The contest will give an award of 9.000€ that will be determined by the decision of judges who will be named by the President of AMETX Erakunde Autonomoa. The judges will be chosen from music professionals and prestigious artists of international recognition.

In addition to this award there will also be another award of 4.000€ which will be decided by the popular vote of the public.

There is another award of 1.000€ given to the best instrumentist of the conquest. This award is determined by the judge.

10. The organization also makes a commitment to the winning groups of the contest that they will be hired by AMETX Erakunde Autonomoa for a performance in the context of any of the cultural programs that AMETX organizes throughout following year, including the next International contest.

11. The decision of the judges will be final.
